The exchange of scientific advances is carried out by
Principal Professor, UNALM commonly through the publication of articles in
specialized journals, these being the vehicle par excellence for the expression
of scientific knowledge. The importance of the scientific article reaches its
maximum exponent in the natural and experimental sciences such as Ecology.
Quality is guaranteed with the existence of an Editorial Board

Ecologia Aplicada journal has an interactive Web page, in
which the summaries of the articles are presented in two languages and which
will also allow the discussion of topics of interest in the science of Ecology..
The storage and
accessibility that ensure the stability of the information are ensured by
registration in the Directory and Catalog Latindex (http://www.latindex.unam.mx)
that involves a wide variety of academic journals, or of academic interest, with
information that allows to know their trajectory, thematic specialization,
publishing body, coverage in databases and distribution procedures. Applied
Ecology has been evaluated by the Selection Committee of the General Directorate
of Libraries, Latin American Newspaper Library in Mexico and accepted for its
summarized and indexed inclusion in the Periodic database. It has also been
evaluated and included in the EBSCO Latin American Magazines Academic Database
project, which provides information in the areas of serial periodicals to
libraries around the world. Also summarized and indexed in the Zoological Record
base, Network of Scientific Journals of Latin America and the Caribbean, Spain
and Portugal REDALYC, Gale Cengage Learning: Academic OneFile and Informe
Académico and SciELO-Peru. These indexes also provide us with indicators on the
queries to our publication.
